Peck Road Park Lake
Peck Road Park Lake (Peck) is located at 5401 N. Peck Road, Arcadia CA 91006. The park is open from 7:00am to sunset, there is no vehicle entrance fee with plenty of parking.
There are restrooms picnic areas and hiking trails the park is only 5 acres and the lake covers most of that. There are several species of fish including largemouth bass.
Last year I got on a good topwater bass bite with poppers and I also caught some on small jigs and hand poured worms.
Most recently, Andre a very talented young angler, who is experienced beyond his years caught a nice large mouth bass.
Andre caught his bass on a small black trout worm, wacky rigged on 6-pound test. The bass weighed in at over 5 pounds that's a great catch anywhere but especially at this lake. Small baits do catch large fish and you will get a bit more often.

Any info if we could take float tubes or kayaks out

I grew up “a stones throw” from this lake, on Miloann St, 60 yrs ago. It was primitive, merky, and unsafe but we still fished there. To get to it, because it was fenced off with barbed wire, We cut a hole in the chain link fence of Rio Hondo Prep (formerly BCL- Boys Christian League & my brother was a member; before that it was a pig farm circa 1940-1955). We called it “the reservoir.” In rainy season it used to rush over the spillway that we would walk across, thankfully never lost our footing or we’d have been washed away! Its beautiful now- what an improvement!

I learned to fish at Peck Road Water Conservation Park as a pre-teenager, over 40 years ago It’s an old rock quarry. I have landed bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill, carp there. All were good size, back in the day. Trout used to be planted there, but not anymore.
