Ghetto Shad Does It Again
It was a very overcast day on a early April afternoon at Puddingstone lake. I started out throwing top water around the stick ups and received a blow up right away, but no hook up. I grabbed my other rod and threw back into where the blow up occurred it resulted in a immediate hook up. After a short fight the small bass was released to grow bigger. Over the next few minutes I caught 3 more bass all on the same bait. The biggest bass weighed in at 2.4 pounds. The bait that did the damage was a 2.75" fork tail I named Ghetto Shad the color was my smoking Gill. It was rigged up on a 1/16oz Owner darter head. Fished on 6 pound test with a slow retrieve.
